WELCOME TEAM
Yours is the first smile a new person sees when they walk onto campus on Sunday mornings. Extend the love of Christ to all who join us for worship each weekend, with particular TLC for our newcomers. Offer a warm welcome, a map, an overview of our ministries, or a quick orientation of the campus layout. The commitment is one Sunday per quarter, 8:30-11:30am. Our vibrant Welcome Team is ready to welcome YOU! No prerequisites required. You simply need a willing spirit and a heart to come alongside our visitors – welcoming them into our beautiful First Pres family! An outgoing, people-centric, conversational disposition is a bonus! USHERS & GREETERS
Our Ushers and Greeters are the friendly faces that welcome First Pres Family & Friends into worship on Sundays. These vital volunteers are newcomers’ first impression of our Church Family. If you have a warm, welcoming demeanor to greet and seat our First Pres-ers, we need you to join this vibrant team of servant-hearted cheer-givers, problem solvers, and huggers extraordinaire!
HOSPITALITY
Our Hospitality Team is essential to Sunday experiences and special events. We always welcome extra hands to brew coffee, serve and refresh delicious treats, and assist with clean up. If you are able to serve for 15-30 minutes on Sunday mornings, or can be available to help with weekday or weekend events, please contact Martha Morejon. This is a great way to connect with others and serve your First Pres Family each week!
BAKING TEAM
Do you have a knack for baking delicious treats? Our Baking Team needs you to prepare and share your creations on Sunday mornings. If you can contribute to our weekly fellowship time with your favorite baked items, fruits or snack items, we need your support! If your creations are also gluten-free, we definitely need your help! There are many ways to get involved in SHINE!
We are looking for friendly people who love Jesus and children to greet, lead a Sunday School class, serve as extra hands during Sunday mornings, or help during the week in preparation for various events. If you have any questions, please email Taylor Boutelle.
CHANCEL CHOIR
CALLING ALL SINGERS! Are you passionate about music in worship? Do you love to sing? Become part of our Chancel Choir at First Pres! We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8, and lead worship each Sunday at the Traditional Service. If you’re a high schooler or older, consider joining TODAY!
MUSICIANS
Do you play an instrument: piano, trumpet, oboe, etc? We need your musical gifts in worship! There are many opportunities to serve musically during instrumental offertory, anthem, prelude or postlude. Consider volunteering today! Karen Robert would love to hear you play!
AV / TECH TEAM
We are looking for tech-savvy volunteers to help with lights, projectors, cameras, sound and general AV needs during services and special events. Do you have a background in the Tech/AV industry? Are you willing to learn? Contact Christina McDaniel to volunteer today!

Have you seen the beautiful floral arrangements that adorn our chancel and special places around campus? Do you love designing with fresh flowers and have a gift for using grandeur from nature in decor? Join the Flower Ministry to work alongside our Lead Designers and volunteers to craft colorful landscapes within our sacred spaces.
