July is Strike Hunger month at First Pres! Through the Relentless Generosity of our Church Family, we’ll feed families struggling with food insecurity during the summer. Here are TWO great ways to get involved:

Feed kids in our public school system struggling with food insecurity this summer! Deliver food to the EMC Lobby during business hours, M-F, during the month of July. Collection bins will also be available under the Angel Wing on Sunday mornings.

Gather eight coworkers, neighbors, friends or family, and contact Dani to add a serve day to the calendar. Together, we’ll serve lunch to our community in need – Loving Our City with warm food and loving care.

Family Helpers serve by providing meals, running errands, assisting with housework, doing yard work, laundry, and helping with other practical tasks to support foster families in our community. Join Covenant Partner, Melissa Crabtree’s, annual mission to support First Pres’ mission partner in Madagascar, Behorika. This girls school offers housing, education, and skills development to help recovering victims of sex trafficking. Join the village of First Pres-ers and others who make this fund raising, garage sale extravaganza a grand success each year!
