Cash

When you're in worship on Sunday morning and want to give cash in the plate, this is a great way to participate. Unless you put it in a giving envelope, with your full name, it won't be credited to your statement, but God will remember. ;-)

Questions? We always have friendly staff on hand for any questions you may have. Give our Finance Office a call Monday through Friday at 407.423.3441.

Feature

Give stock or estate gifts.

Stock and estate gifts are awesome and tax-deductible! As you consider your own stewardship throughout the year, remember there are ways to improve the income tax benefit you receive for your year-end gifts.

You can transfer a gift of stocks, bonds or mutual funds as an easy way to give. Gifting stock to the church means your gift is eligible for an immediate income tax deduction.

Call Tom Levesque Finance Office for details at 407.423.3441 or email tlevesque@fpco.org.

Financial Accountability

First Presbyterian Church of Orlando is certified by the ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) a national financial accountability organization.

Founded in 1979, ECFA provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, transparency, fundraising, and board governance. ECFA accreditation entitles a ministry to use the ECFA seal. The continuing use of the seal depends on the ministry’s good faith compliance with all ECFA Standards. First Presbyterian Church of Orlando's ECFA Member Profile is available on their website.

First Presbyterian Church of Orlando is committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and accountability in all of its activities. In addition to maintaining strong and robust internal financial practices, the church engages the certified public accounting firm of Batts Morrison Wales & Lee (BMWL) to perform an annual independent audit of the church’s financial statements. BMWL presents its audit report annually to the church’s Support Committee and Session. Church members are welcome to contact our Finance Director, Tom Levesque with questions anytime.

As with all financial matters at the church, your commitments and gifts are treated with respect, privacy and professionalism. Knowledge of your specific gifts is limited to our Finance Office.
