The Ruling Elders of First Pres alongside the Senior Pastor Search Committee from 2004 will host this day of celebration for the unwavering courage, care, and dedication of our servant leader, Dr. David Swanson – and his family. This is a day for our entire First Pres Family to participate in expressing love and hearty thanks!
The Swansons have poured their hearts into guiding and nurturing our congregation – leading us in God's Word, and exemplifying Christ's love in action. On this 20-year Anniversary, we want to offer an exuberant celebration for our beloved Senior Pastor and his family!

During both worship services on September 22, our Elders will take a moment to share their heartfelt appreciation, reflecting on the immense contributions made by The Swansons in guiding our faith and leading our Church Family. We will pray over The Swanson Family, petitioning God's blessings for their continued strength and wisdom in their ministry.
Between worship services, we will hold a celebration in Lee Fellowship Hall. Join us for light refreshments and a chance to hear inspiring words from our Elders and Dr. Swanson’s 2004 Search Committee as we continue to express our gratitude and love.
