Welcome to the SHINE Children’s Ministry of First Pres, serving infants–5th grade. Our kids grow in knowledge and love of Jesus each week through play, worship, and prayer. Our young First Pres-ers and their dear families find a place to Belong here—in the safety, warmth, and care of our Church Family.

We value the spiritual formation of our beloved children, and partner with families as we all learn and grow in the love of Jesus.
We gather on Sundays to praise our King, play together, and love each other. Here’s the schedule for YOU to jump in this week:
SUNDAY WORSHIP | 9:00AM & 11:15AM
NURSERY (0-PK4)
Our littlest First Pres-ers can be checked in and dropped off 20 minutes before worship. They’ll settle in with their teachers for a sweet morning of nurture and play.
PRAISE & PLAY (K-2nd Grade)
Kindergarten - 2nd grade children join their families in worship until Praise & Play is dismissed. Grouped by grade level, our kids enjoy an interactive time of learning and fun while their families remain in the Sanctuary for the sermon.
FORMATION HOUR (10:15AM)
All children (nursery-elementary) are invited to learn about Jesus through a structured curriculum selected just for them. While our kiddos enjoy precious moments in the Word of God, their families can also attend a Formation class, or they might choose to Fellowship with friends—known & new!
All children must be registered to attend SHINE programming. It’s easy!

Sundays are just the beginning of the incredible “happenings” in SHINE! Some of our favorite moments are summer Deep Dive (VBS), weekly Music & Mingle gatherings, and playgroups at a playground near you! With special events and pop-ups all year long, you’ll want to keep a close eye on our emails and social media pages:
Taylor Boutelle is our incredible Director of Children’s Ministry—loving and leading our young First Pres-ers since 2018. Taylor is eager to get to know you and your family, and can’t wait to witness the growth and goodness of God in your life!
