Policies 

All Classes

• Classes are held weekly.
• Class duration is listed in schedule. 
• Confirmation emails with location, parking information, etc. will be sent out during the week prior to first class.
• Talking during class is expected to be kept at a minimum out of respect for the class, teacher, and your child.
• Your musical participation in class is very important for your child’s success in the class.
• Parent orientation attendance is strongly encouraged (more info to come)
• If your child wants a snack or drink during class, please take them aside, allow them to partake, then rejoin class.
• If your child becomes upset in class, you may take them out of the room so they may calm down, then rejoin class.
• We strongly encourage parents to leave their stroller in the car, however if it is needed, ask your teacher where to park it so it is not in the hallways.

Musik4Life

• Each class cap is 11 Expecting Moms
• Each class must have 6 or more registrations or class will be dropped
• If 8 or more Moms are on a waiting list, an additional class will be added as teacher and space are available. 
• One adult family member may attend with you. 
• This class is for adults only, please no children. 
• This class will last for 8 weeks.

Babies thru Big Kids

• Each class cap is 11 children
• Each class must have 9 or more registrations or class will be dropped 
• If 8 or more children are on a waiting list, an additional class will be added as teacher and space are available.
• At least one parent/caregiver must accompany child to class - it's a time for parent/caregiver and child to interact together. 
• These classes will last for 12 weeks during the Fall and Spring, 8 weeks during the Summer.

Explorers

• Class cap is 11 children
• Each class must have 9 or more registrations or class will be dropped 
• If 8 or more children are on a waiting list, an additional class will be added as teacher and space are available. 
• Child attends without parent for first 45 minutes, parent joins class at final 15 minutes for sharing time.
• These classes will last for 12 weeks during the Fall and Spring, 8 weeks during the Summer.

MG Piano

• Pre-requisite: Introduction to Piano (1 week, 5 lessons)
• Class cap is 6 children 
• Each class must have 4 or more registrations or class will be dropped
• If 5 or more children are on a waiting list, an additional class will be added as teacher and space are available. 
• Child attends without parent for first hour, parent joins class at final 15 minutes for sharing time.
• This class will last for 13 weeks.

Sing-Along Picnic

At the end of each Fall and Spring sessions, MusikGarten at FPCO will host a picnic at which we will bring snacks and blankets and play at a designated park. This event was implemented in place of make-up classes and serve as a fun morning together with current MusikGarten families to sing, dance, play, and enjoy fellowship at the end of the session.
