At FPCO we firmly believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ but we create an environment where you can intellectually pursue through questions, socially engage through friendships, and emotionally experience through inspirational worship the reality of God’s presence and love for you. | |
Some Important Points to Ponder
You were created for a vital relationship with the living God; a supportive community with others; and to make a difference in this world.
Evil, selfishness, and sin has broken our relationship with God, others, and this world. Not only do we suffer but this world is damaged by the injustices and lack of care caused by evil, selfishness, and sin.
Jesus Christ has waded into the evil, selfishness, and sin that has marred each of us and has restored us to a relationship with God and each other. Furthermore, Jesus Christ empowers us to be a people who seek to treat others with compassion and care and therefore, to make a difference in this world.
This “God life” with Jesus Christ is not the result of what we DO but what Jesus Christ has DONE for us. Life is a gift from God.
