Arabic Baptist Church of Kissimmee
This church started in 1990 as a home Bible Study. They now share space with first Baptist Church of Kissimmee and are committed to sharing Christ with Arab Internationals in Central Florida. They are committed to reaching out to 80,000 Muslims in Central Florida through personal visitation, Bible Study, radio and evangelistic programs.
Needs: Prayer for personal visitations, reaching out programs in the area, Arabic radio and evangelistic programs. The church could also use a car for the pastor and a van to pick up people who cannot drive for church.
Bethlehem Bible College
BBC seeks to train and prepare Christian servant leaders for the churches and society within an Arab context, who model Christ centeredness, Godly humility, Biblical wholeness, creative mercy and justice in their jobs and ministries as life long learners.
The Muslim World Team and the Basics Class partnered with BBC on a video conferencing project. This project allows professors to continue to teach students who no longer can freely travel in and out of Bethlehem due to political conditions.
Needs: Please pray for students and staff as the work and grow in their faith, for peace and reconciliation in this area of conflict, and for volunteers to help with the day to day running of the Guest House, as well as the College and in local refugee camps.
Global Hope International
Global Hope Network is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and Orlando, Florida. They focus on the humanitarian needs of the overlooked or hidden persons in war zones, natural disaster areas and underdeveloped regions of the globe. The projects meet needs in the areas of food aid, medical care, agriculture, education and micro-enterprise.
The Muslim Team and church members partnered with GHNI’s Ant’s House in Mozambique to open a bakery that bakes and delivers 3000 loaves of bread a day. The proceeds are then used to support and educate the many orphans who live at The Ant’s House. For more information visit www.ghni.org.
Needs: Prayer for their ministries as well as people to go on short term “Compassion Trips.”
Iranian Christian Church
Motivated by Christ’s love for lost people and their love for their countrymen and women, a small group of Iranian Christians with Muslim back grounds established the Church in 2002. The purpose of the church is to reach out to the Muslim Community, especially the estimated 6,000 Iranian people living in Central Florida. Their Sunday evening services are held in Farsi.
Needs: Prayer for growth of their Church, and for their families in Iran.
Overseas Council
OC partners with seminaries and Bible colleges around the world to equip national Christian leaders with biblical training. OC also partners with North American Christians interested in investing prayer and financial resources.
Their goal is to equip biblical leaders to be effective pastors, teachers, evangelists, missionaries and Christian leaders in their own countries. This year the Muslim team partnered with OC in the area of student scholarships, specifically for female students at the Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary in Amman and at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Beirut, Lebanon.
Venture International
The mission of Venture International, a Christian relief and development organization, is to serve as a bridge between those in need and those who want to help God’s people in the Middle East and Central Asia; empowering and enhancing their work through; strategic partnerships, emergency relief, small business creation, and people development.
The Muslim Team partnered with Venture International and its founder, Len Rodgers, in a relief effort to help the churches of Lebanon minister in Christ’s name to the thousands of Muslims who sought refuge during the 34 day war.
Needs: Prayer as they represent a part of the world that is currently very unpopular.
Myrtle Amundson
Myrtle has spent a lifetime ministering and teaching those who have never heard the gospel here in Central Florida and all over the world. Myrtle is currently retired from teaching and she focuses much of her time and talents to sharing love, friendship and the Gospel to her Muslim friends right here in Central Florida. She distribute Bibles in various languages as well as the Jesus video. She holds Bible Studies with those who are interested and supports the ministry of the Iranian Church and the Arab Church as they reach out to the Muslim Community in Florida.
Prayer needs: Prayers for her Chinese friends who have become believers, that they will find a Christian community to fellowship with upon their return to China.
Prayer for opportunities for her to share God’s love with her Muslim friends.
Marla (last name withheld for security reasons)
After 10 years working on the JESUS film team in Orlando, Marla headed to a European country on behalf of Campus Crusade, working in the technical area to help provide aid, hope and truth to North Africa, the Middle East & Cent. Asia, as well as the large Muslim population right there in Europe. If you'd like more information, please don't hesitate to contact the Mission Department.
Needs: Fabric, needles, quilting needles and good quilting thread for sewing projects in Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

MD’s, dentists and Counselors, and technical trainers to service conferences in February and November.
Prayer: Spiritual battles in the region, travel safety, encouragement, wisdom and perseverance.
Undisclosed, Afghanistan
Please pray for the “R” family as they boldly minister to the Afghan people. They serve in Afghanistan currently supporting 59 missionaries serving 13 countries, including Sudan, Yemen, Afghanistan, Myanmar, and China.
Needs: Currently, they are requesting prayer support for their ministry to the Muslim world.
