The Dickson Family: Rick, Teresa, Sarah & John
Rick and Teresa Dickson and their children, Sarah and John, are missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship. In January of 2006, Rick prayerfully accepted a new assignment to serve as MAF's Latin America Regional Director. With this new endeavor, the family has relocated to San Jose, Costa Rica. MAF has mission work in many Latin American countries, such as Ecuador, Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Haiti and Suriname. Their goal is to further the gospel into hard to reach locations, overcoming physical barriers by use of small, Cessna aircraft which provide transportation for missionaries, pastors, church planters, mission teams and/or the JESUS Film. www.maf.org.
Needs: Prayer for safety as Rick flies, and as he manages the many flights landing and taking off in various regions, ever-changing government regulations, and sometimes rugged jungles.
The Drake Family: Lindsay, Elliott, and Avery
Living in Santo Domingo, cominican Republic, serving Dominicans and Haitians living in the communities of Nazaret and Cielo, the Drakes are serving with Mission Emanuel, supervising team leaders in the areas of Education, Sponsorship programs, Health Care, short-term Mission Projects, Construction, Water Purification, Women’s Cooperative, Spiritual Growth, Outreach Ministries, Ministry Partnerships, and Business Development.
