Bajalia Trading Company

We use trade, training and other forms of community development to alleviate poverty and empower low-income people as they work to improve their lives. We have identified hundreds of producer groups throughout Africa, Central and Eastern Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Currently we have created a wholesale market for 9 groups, and are working on product lines to market several more producers to potential national wholesale clients.
Needs: Prayer for guidance and direction of the organization
Volunteers on an as-needed basis for specific projects, usually involving inventory and repacking.

 

Good News Jail and Prison International

Our purpose is to provide Christian chaplains in correctional facilities both nationally and internationally. Good News International trains national chaplains to work within the correctional facilities of their country. They share the Gospel, lead Bible studies, and minister through humanitarian aid to inmates and to their families, as many inmates in international areas lack the basic necessities to survive in the prison. www.goodnewsjail.org
Needs: Financial needs for specific geographic areas for international mission, Egypt, Lebanon, Sudan, and Kyrgyzstan
Regular prayer for this ministry, for safety, wisdom and financial needs. Prayer for the new believers and for our volunteers

 

 

Luis Palau Association

We aim to minister in capital cities and other influential population centers around the world, with the goal of letting entire regions hear the voice of God. We hold citywide mass evangelistic festivals aimed at reaching as many people as possible with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We work closely with local churches to follow up with each person who registers a commitment to Jesus Christ during our festivals. We engage in social action and community service, ministering to families and entire communities, recognizing that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is itself the greatest agent for positive social change.
Needs: Prayer for planning events, training and mobilization of churches, safe travel for serving teams, funds needed to accomplish all goals for these initiatives, and growth of the Church worldwide.

 

Gabriel and Rachel DeGuia

Gabe and Rachel have both been with Campus Crusade for Christ separately, and since December of 2007 have been serving as Mr. and Mrs. In may of 2008, they moved to The Jesus Film Project, working as a regional representative for Florida and parts of the Midwest, working with donors and helping them participate in ministry opportunities around the world. Rachel continues to work for MK2MK project, which partners College Age missionary kids with High School age missionary kids in order to mentor them and encourage them in making an impact in the cities where their families are serving.
Needs: Volunteers who can do any of the following: writers, computer programmers,
experienced Web developers, people to help host informational/prayer gatherings, participants for JESUS Film Mission Trips.

 

Whitehouse, John and Barbara

John and Barbara are with the JESUS Film Project, Field strategy focusing on East Asia, specifically Pakistan, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, North Korea, and Mongolia.
They provide tools and strategies these countries need to evangelize and disciple their people, ensuring effective strategy is being used in the field.
Needs: Prayers for these countries, which pose dangerous conditions for Christians and missionaries there.
