What is a Mission Partner?
Mission partners are those individuals and organizations with whom we – as a church – are in relationship for the purposes of seeing God’s work advance through our ministries. Mission partners are not solely those to whom we give money – in fact, they are not all given money. The purest purpose of our relationship with our mission partners is exactly that: relationship. How can we use our knowledge, our time, our prayers, our friendship, our financial resources, our other relationships or our education to equip and encourage one another in God’s Kingdom? Our mission partners rely on our encouragement and prayers throughout the year.
Most of our Mission Partners are listed by name, including any children in the field. But sometimes our partners are in an area – for instance Afghanistan or East Asia – where it is unsafe for their identity to be published. In that case, we have listed them as “unnamed.” Though you can’t pray for them by name, we hope you will still pray for them specifically.
How to Find Out More
If you’re interested in helping support one of our partners, or find out more about the work they do, look for the Ministry Team link at the bottom of each page, or contact the Mission Office at 407.423.3441. They can help you with contact information if you want to send a note of encouragement or a care package to a mission partner, or learn more about an organization’s needs.
