While we all feel the need for devotional time, the daily emails last year made it difficult to keep up. We’ve created a new Devotional that will still allow us to study the Bible daily and will guide our study towards the weekly sermons that we share together.
- SevenWords.

The Bible in the masthead photo belonged to Christine McLendon, the grandmother of our friend and member, Jeremiah Jenkins. When she went to be with the Lord last year, Jeremiah allowed me to photograph her Bible. It was wonderfully worn with underlining throughout: notes and prayers were stuffed into its weathered pages.
I had never met Christine, but the time and devotion she had invested in this beautiful Bible were evidence of her love and dedication to her strong faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that the SevenWords weekly devotionals set you on a course to wear out your Bible as well; but more importantly, towards growing closer to Christ and deeper in your own faith.

...SEVEN Words For SEVEN Days.
SEVEN is the Perfect Number in the Bible because it is the number of completion...when God had finished His work of Creation.
SEVEN symbolizes spiritual perfection.SEVEN is used over 700 times in the Bible.
God appointed SEVEN days in the week, Man named them but God created the days
The seventh day is the Sabbath, the day to rest and enjoy His creation.
There are SEVEN Notes in the musical scale...Man named the notes but God fixed the sounds
There were SEVEN branches on the candlestick in the Holy place in the tabernacle: the complete light of God for the souls of men.
Jesus said to forgive “SEVENTY times SEVEN”- in other words He is saying, keep on forgiving until you are complete.
