Counseling Ministry
A congregation in Christ’s church is called to proclaim the truth, promote wholeness, enable restoration and declare renewal all in the name of Jesus. Jesus shared his gospel purpose when he read from the Prophet Isaiah; 'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.' We believe that this restoration comes by the power of the Holy Spirit through the support of friends and family, from the support of our christian sisters and brothers and professional help.
The Counseling Ministries of FPCO offer a Coalition of Christian Counselors, a small group of counselors with whom the Church feels confident referring our members to for help. The counselors feel honored to serve you, providing a unique perspective of seeing how God, through the Gospel, redeems people through the darkest and most troubling times of their lives.
