Please stop by our check-in desk for complete information and assistance!
Sunday infant and Preschool rooms are located on the first floor of the Clayton Life Center (corner of Magnolia and Jackson). Please check in at the reception desk where our Morning Glory Guild members will assist you with security tags, pagers, sign in and room location for your child. We open at 8:15am. In order to insure the comfort and safety of each child, we have paid professional early childhood staff attending to your children in each of our rooms. Our Morning Glory Guild and volunteers assist paid staff on Sundays. Both staff and volunteers have had background checks and volunteer training.
Some things to remember:
-
Please label all items belonging to your child. We cannot give unmarked bottles to our babies. Please include items that will comfort your infant while in our care (pacifier, blanket, etc.) as well as extra diapers. Be sure to leave valuable and precious items at home (heirloom booties, rattles, etc.).
-
We have a firm policy regarding pickup from our rooms. Be prepared to show a valid photo ID if you lose your half of the security tag. Please understand if we ask to see your security stub or a photo ID--even if we know you. We have many visitors and want to maintain a consistent check in and pick up procedure. Please do not send an older sibling to pick up your child. We release children only to adults. Our desire is to keep the children in our care safe and secure!
Illness Policy: Please help us keep all our children healthy! If your child has had symptoms of illness (rash, sore throat, fever, vomiting, diahrrea or cough) please keep him/her at home until the symptoms have been gone for 24 hours. A green/yellow discharge from the nose means infection. Please do not bring your child to our rooms with this condition. We will need to page you to pick up your child if any of these symptoms are present. Our desire is to keep our children as healthy as possible and to prevent the spread of illness among our children and staff!
Emergencies: If there is an emergency, you will be paged. If it is a life threatening emergency, 911 will be called and then you will be paged. Accident reports are filled out and signed by the staff, director and parent (falls, bumps on head, pinched fingers, etc.).
If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to share them with us. We want your little one's time with us to be safe and happy! We welcome your comments....
